2020 has been a year filled with uncertainty, testimonies, miracles , healing , tears, crying, pain ,death but above all God’s goodness.

Yes, in the midst of it all God has been good. And so today I’d like to take the time to pray and to give thanks to God – why not join me and give thanks to GOD.
For the word of God says in all circumstances, in all things, give thanks unto God.
A prayer of thanks to God
Father in Jesus name
I thank you
Today I’ve come to give you thanks.
Thank you God for all you have done this year
Thank you God for what you didn’t do
Thank you God for all the prayers you answered
Thank you God for all the people you kept alive this year in 2020
I thank you that I am alive today.
I am grateful that I am among the living.
PAUSE
Isaiah 38 verse 19 says : Only the living can praise you, as I do today. Each generation tells of your faithfulness to the next.
Hallelujah !

I thank you because again I’ve witnessed you keep your promise.
In Hebrews 13 verse 5 that you will never leave me nor forsake me – that is exactly what you did. You never left me!
Such an awesome God you are!
PAUSE
Father, I thank you for all my friends and family that made it through this year. It was tough for many but, you provided for us.
We can testify to your goodness even in the midst of the storm - even in the midst of uncertainty. You covered us.
I know it’s not because I pray for hours on end. It’s not even because I gave the best presents this year – it’s just because you choose to have mercy on me.
I remember Romans 9:18 “Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.”

Father I give you all the praise.

I exalt your name.
I give you glory and honour.
Father you deserve it.
You have brought me far.
