‘Iysi, how can I easily incorporate modest pieces into my wardrobe?’
The answer is… many ways!
Today I’ll share one way with you—wrap dresses.
I know most ladies run away from modest fashion because they feel they’ll either look frumpy or pick the wrong piece entirely. And this is why I absolutely love wrap dresses, firstly, wrap dresses are easy to wear.
Secondly, wrap dresses are easy to style.
Thirdly, most wrap dresses flawlessly complement the natural curves without compromising on modest style.
Lastly, wrap dresses are flattering on most body types too. Amazing, right?
So if you want to purchase a modest wrap dress here are a few tips to guide you on your purchase.
- Pay attention to the neckline. Big boobs or little boobs, if the neckline is too low, you’ll need to wear a camisole or bandeau underneath; to avoid this, consider the neckline.
- Pay attention to the length. Some dresses look great when standing up, but sat down it’s another show entirely! TIP: Invest in a measuring tape, then you’ll be able to measure up before purchasing any items you’re unsure of.
- Be bold. Modesty doesn’t mean boring! Just look at the world God created! It’s colourful! Full of colour! If you aren’t feeling adventurous, you can start with block colours (great for that slimming effect), but for me, I’m all for prints, patterns and 3D fabrics!
